Claudia Bonney Amamoo joined the Law School as an inaugural Law Fellow in 2026, serving with the Office of Leadership and Professional Identity.
Claudia received a B.A. in Political Science and Spanish from the University of Montevallo and a J.D. from the University of Alabama, where she served as President of the Intellectual Property Law Society and as Parliamentarian for the Bryan K. Fair Chapter of the Black Law Students Association. She was a member of the school’s national championship-winning team at the BLSA Nelson Mandela International Negotiations Competition. In 2024, she was named the best negotiator in the competition’s preliminary round.
She served as a Student Attorney for the Entrepreneurship & Nonprofit Clinic and the Appellate Advocacy Clinic. She also served as Senior Editor for the Alabama Civil Rights & Civil Liberties Law Review and was inducted into the Order of the Barristers.
Claudia worked as a law clerk at John D. Saxon P.C., an employment litigation firm, and as Chief of Staff for Everybody Leads with Tim Lupinacci. Claudia’s interests include employment law, intellectual property, international relations, leadership, and negotiations.
