William January joined the Law School as Assistant Director of Career Services in March 2022.
Mr. January is a native of Tuscaloosa and an alumnus of The University of Alabama, where he graduated with a Bachelors of Arts in English in 2015. Prior to attending law school, he served as an instructor at the University of Oklahoma teaching composition courses and earned a Master of Arts in English in 2018. He then earned his Juris Doctor and Master of Laws (in Taxation) from The University of Alabama School of Law in May 2021. Before returning to Alabama Law, he practiced at a small firm in Pensacola, FL, focusing on Estate Planning, Trusts and Estates, and Taxation matters. Mr. January is an active member of the Alabama Bar and The Association for Legal Career Professionals (NALP).
