Megan Walsh was named the Assistant Dean for Career Services at The University of Alabama School of Law in June 2018. She oversees all operations of the Career Services Office. This includes mapping strategies for employer recruitment, student and alumni counseling, out-of-state career fairs, and career services programming. Prior to this position, Ms. Walsh served the Law School as an Assistant Director for Career Services where she focused on student counseling and out-of-state job fair programs. Ms. Walsh is an alumna of The University of Alabama, where she graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Political Science. She earned her Juris Doctor from The University of Alabama School of Law. Prior to joining Career Services, Ms. Walsh worked for The Honorable Philip N. Lisenby of the Sixth Judicial Circuit of Alabama and as a prosecutor in the Tuscaloosa County District Attorney’s Office. Ms. Walsh is an active member of the Alabama Bar, The Association for Legal Career Professionals (NALP), and the Tuscaloosa County Bar Association.
