  • Alabama Law Alum Frees Man from Lifelong Prison Sentence

    Alabama Law alum (’21) and Alabama Appleseed intern, Allen Slater, recently helped free a man— who was serving a life sentence for a crime that, nowadays, receives a much lesser penalty— after 27 years in Donaldson Correctional Facility in Jefferson County, Alabama.
