The Public Interest Institute at Alabama Law will be celebrating its 25th anniversary in 2025! Students, alumni, and friends of the Law School are invited to help kick off the celebration by submitting an original work of art that represents the theme “Cultivating a lifelong commitment to service.” The winning piece, which will be chosen by the Law School community, will be featured throughout the year. Priority will be given to graphic based work (sketches, painting, photography, digital design, etc.). However, all forms of artistic expression (poetry, video, music, mixed media work) are welcome.
Judging
A committee made up of the Public Interest Student Board and Law School staff members will decide on the finalists, and the winner will be selected through a vote by the Alabama Law community, including students, faculty, and staff.
Deadline
Submissions will be accepted until January 17, and the winner will be notified and recognized in February. Learn more about the competition and complete your submission here.
