In the recently-released 2025 Above the Law Top Law Schools rankings, Alabama Law ranked 8th among public law schools and 25th overall, rising four spots in the past year.
Above the Law prioritizes affordability and quality employment outcomes—focusing on educational value and how well law schools place students (1) in full-time, longer-term positions that require bar passage and (2) on career paths that enable them to pay off their student debt. These rankings reflect Alabama Law’s commitment to producing leaders in the legal profession who are well-equipped to excel in whatever field they choose, wherever that may be.
