Children's Rights Law Clinic
LAW 897 | 2-4 Hours | Special Topics Course
The Children’s Rights Clinic in conjunction with the Alabama Disabilities Advocacy Program works to ensure that youth with disabilities involved in the juvenile justice system have their disability needs met and their rights protected. This course is classified as experiential. Students are only allowed to enroll in this course with approval from the Clinic Director. This course includes discussion about the development of a professional identity. This course includes material on bias, cross-cultural competency, and racism.
