Entrepreneurship & Nonprofit Clinic

The Entrepreneurship & Nonprofit Clinic (E-Clinic) provides pro bono, transactional legal services to small businesses, start-ups and entrepreneurs, nonprofit organizations, social enterprises, community development organizations, and authors, artists, and musicians in both urban and rural counties of Alabama. First time clinic participants must take both the 4-hour casework section and the 2-hour class section. Returning students can only take the 4-hour casework section. This course is classified as experiential. Students are only allowed to enroll in this course with approval from the Clinic Director. This course includes discussion about the development of a professional identity. This course includes material on bias, cross-cultural competency, and racism.
Prerequisite(s) with concurrency: LAW 645 and LAW 660
