ESG & Financial Crimes
LAW 796 | 2-3 Hours
Students will learn about and evaluate legal regimes around ESG (also known as environmental, social, and governance) and financial crimes (environmental crimes, human trafficking, anti-corruption, anti-money laundering, and sanctions) and develop strategies for strengthening businesses’ legal and compliance responses for these issues. Students will learn techniques for advising businesses and developing programmatic mitigations to address these risks.
