Topics include real estate financing considerations, land use law, construction and development related agreements, environmental considerations, federal income tax considerations, affordable housing regulations, and entity structure. Through a case study, lecture, discussions, and practical exercises, students will develop a nuanced understanding of the myriad legal issues that arise in multifamily real estate projects and how attorneys navigate these complexities.
