LAW 651 | 2-3 Hours

The goal of this course is to provide an overview of the laws and planning instruments that affect the elderly population.  Topics may include benefits programs (e.g., Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid), preparation of relevant instruments (e.g., wills, powers of appointment, MOLST), guardianships, housing options, and elder abuse.  Some topics are tentative and may be modified.
