Due Process

In this seminar, students will examine the development of due process jurisprudence under the Fifth and Fourteenth Amendments. Students will read and analyze the major doctrinal categories, including substantive and procedural due process, with a focus on how the Supreme Court has interpreted the constitutional text over time.
