LAW 600 | 4 Hours

Analysis of legally enforced agreements in various domains, including commercial, financial, family, employment, consumer, and other transactions. Focus is on doctrines pertaining to formation, interpretation, breach and discharge, remedies, and defenses. Also touches on obligations around contract, such as promissory estoppel, unjust enrichment, and good faith, with attention the place of contractual obligations in the economic and social order. Absent special circumstances, this course is open only to first year students.
