Alabama Law Hosts Southeastern Junior-Senior Workshop

A group of scholars discusses their work.

On November 7-8, Alabama Law hosted this year’s Southeastern Junior-Senior Workshop, organized by the Director of Faculty Research, Professor Shalini Ray. The annual workshop brings together junior and senior scholars from law schools across the Southeast, offering junior scholars a unique platform to present their work, receive formal comments from senior scholars, and benefit from constructive feedback. Participants this year hailed from the law schools at the University of North Carolina, the University of Georgia, the University of Florida, Florida State University, Tulane University, William & Mary, and Emory.

“The Junior/Senior workshop has a long tradition of building scholarly community in the region, and we enjoyed hosting it this year at Alabama Law,” said Ray. “Special thanks to Dean Brewbaker for his support, Professors Clare Ryan and Heather Elliott for participating, and to Cindy Rice, Erica Nicholson, and others for making everything run smoothly.”
