In Memory of Tommy Wells (Class of 1975)

With heavy hearts, the Alabama Law community mourns the passing of a dear alumnus, colleague, and friend – H. Thomas Wells, Jr. (Class of 1975).

Wells was a founding member of Maynard Cooper & Gale in Birmingham and was on the Leadership Council for the Alabama Law Alumni Society. From 2008-2009, he also served as the President of the American Bar Association.

We are deeply saddened by the loss of this dear friend, and we extend our heartfelt condolences to his colleagues and loved ones. We will miss him greatly. Learn more about Tommy and the impact he has made on Alabama’s legal community here.
