Nicole Self-Drake Hughes joined the Career Services Office in September 2021.
Prior to returning to Alabama Law, Ms. Hughes practiced law for six years at Hardin & Hughes, LLP, where she represented workers on a variety of civil matters, including wage and hour violations and workplace discrimination. Before private practice, she served in various capacities at Alabama Law, working in and/or directing multiple clinics in the Law Clinics program, as well as teaching as an adjunct professor (Spanish for Lawyers, Introduction to Law in the United States). Ms. Hughes holds three degrees from the University of Alabama - JD (cum laude), BA (Spanish) and MA (Romance Languages).
